Pour commencer par le commencement, il a fallu choisir notre monture. Pas facile de trouver la perle rare; tant il y a de possibilités qui ne nous conviennent jamais assez: Trop petit, trop vieux, trop cher, trop de kilomètres, trop mauvais état, trop ... Enfin la liste est longue.
Apres quelques mois de recherches, nous sommes tombé sous le charme d'un magnifique VW Transporter T5 ! Nous sommes allés le chercher à Manosque. Il a été chouchouté par ses anciens propriétaires, un couple de retraités avec Monsieur ancien garagiste. Promis, on va lui en faire voir de toutes les couleurs !
To start with the beginning, we first had to choose our Van. Not an easy task to find the "precious"; considering all the offers that don't fit our expectations: too short, too old, too expensive, too high mileage, too much damaged, too... well the list won't fit this page.
After few months of intensive searches, we ran into a nice VW Transporter T5 ! We picked it up few Km away from the Verdon, surely not a coincidence. It's been well taken care of by our predecessors, a retired mechanic. Now it's our turn to take it around the world !
